Floor Plan

The first floor features a welcoming tea house open to both locals and travelers, along with a private guest area exclusively for overnight guests, including a spacious living and dining room.

The second floor offers four bedrooms named after some of Goto's most iconic landscapes—Onidake, Takahama, Dosaki Church, and Osezaki Lighthouse—as well as a south-facing sunroom overlooking Fukue Shopping Street.

South-Facing Sunroom

On the second floor of goto yohaku, you'll find a south-facing sunroom overlooking Fukue Shopping Street.

A solid wood counter sits by the window—perfect for enjoying your morning tea, reading a book, planning the day's adventures, or catching up on a little work.

It's a place to do something, and just as importantly, a place to do nothing at all.

Perhaps nowhere captures the spirit of "Yohaku"—the quiet space that gives goto yohaku its name—more than this room.

Living & Dining

The living and dining area at goto yohaku STAY is centered around a large table inspired by a traditional Japanese tea room.

Gather here to plan your day's adventures, enjoy tea with Kankoro Mochi from our tea house, or share stories from the day's journey as evening falls.

The fully equipped kitchen lets you prepare meals using fresh local ingredients, including Goto Beef and seasonal vegetables. Serve them on the Hasami ware tableware provided, and enjoy a leisurely meal together around the table.

More than simply a place to dine, this is where each day of your journey begins and ends.

Bedrooms

Whether you're traveling with friends or staying with family, spending time together is one of the greatest joys of any journey. That's why it's just as important to have a quiet place where everyone can unwind.

The four bedrooms at goto yohaku are named after some of Goto's most iconic landmarks—Onidake, Dosaki Church, Takahama, and Osezaki Lighthouse. Their layout reflects the four cardinal directions, inspired by both the island itself and the home.

At night, retreat to your own room for a restful sleep. The next morning, gather again in the living room to begin a new day together. Designed with just the right balance of togetherness and privacy, the space remains comfortable even for larger groups.

Bathroom

After a day spent taking in the sea, wandering through the shopping streets, and experiencing the atmosphere of Goto, it's time to unwind.

goto yohaku features a handcrafted Japanese-style bathtub with a shower, as well as a separate shower room. With two bathing spaces, everyone can relax at their own pace without worrying about waiting their turn—ideal for families, friends, and larger groups.

Some may choose a long soak in the tub, while others prefer a quick shower before relaxing.

However you end your day, we hope you'll find the time to truly unwind.

Toilet & Vanity

One thing that often surprises travelers in larger groups is how busy the bathroom can become in the morning—or after a day of exploring.

To make every stay more comfortable, goto yohaku is equipped with two washlet toilets, allowing everyone to get ready at their own pace.

The vanity area also features thoughtfully selected amenities, including ReFa and KINUJO beauty appliances, along with a range of toiletries to make your stay even more comfortable.

Even while traveling, we hope you'll enjoy a relaxed and unhurried start to your day.

Interior

At goto yohaku, special attention has been given to the lighting.

As evening falls, the space is designed not to be brightly illuminated, but gently lit to create a calm atmosphere where you'll naturally want to slow down.

Whether you're enjoying a cup of tea, reading a book, or sharing stories from your journey, every moment is made more comfortable through carefully chosen lighting, from the bulbs and color temperature to their placement throughout the space.
